Tribal.

I was lucky enough to be able to travel down to the Omo Valley and Jinka area. Things I saw and my experiences were one of a kind. I got to camp with the Karo tribe right in one of their villages. Simply unbelievable. The people are beautiful and the culture is rich. It is now on my bucket list to live tribal like them. Maybe October I'll go and live with them :) . They're way of life is so extremely different from anything I've know. I love the simplicity of it and yet the hardship of it too. I find beauty in the pride they have in their culture, way of life, and their complete realness. Enjoy some of my favorite photos from the trip. Many more to come!

  1. kate- i am in awe of the experiences you are having. I am afraid if i were in your situation there would have been a few times i'd have run away screaming. You are so brave. I hear you are teaching RS now. I thought that was perfect, although quite a challenge in such a different culture. Good thing the gospel doesn't change from one culture to the next. You are amazing!
